EVGENY MYSLIVETS

Evgeny Myslivets received the B.Sc. degree with honors in physics from Belarusian State University, Minsk, Belarus in 1999.  During 2000-2005, he worked in Virtual Photonics (currently VPI Photonics) as a modeling engineer, where he developed the software for optical network design at physical level.  In 2010, he received the PhD degrees in Photonics from the University of California San Diego, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.  Currently, he is a post-doctorate researcher at the California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies (CALIT2).

BILL P.-P.KUO

Bill P.-P. Kuo received the B.Eng. degree (with first-class honors) in electronic and communications engineering and the M. Phil degree in electronic engineering from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego in 2011. Bill was awarded by Marcony Society in 2011 and selected as a Marconi Young Scholar because of his key work in ultra-fast signal processing based on parametric mixers. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Photonics Systems Group. His research interests include parametric processes in optical fibers and their applications in communication and sensing.

VAHID ATAIE

Vahid received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2005 and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering/Communication Systems from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2008. He received the Ph.D degree in Photonics from the University of California, San Diego in 2014 and is currectly working as a Postdoctoral researcher.

ANA PEJKIC

Ana (Peric) Pejkic received B.S. degree in Applied Physics and Informatics from the University of Belgrade, Department ofPhysics in 2010. She received  M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in 2012a and 2015 respectively.  She is currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego.
