We are currently seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in integrated photonics. Primary technical interests include, but are not limited to, modeling, design, fabrication and characterization of integrated photonic devices for communications and sensing applications.

 

    Expected qualifications:

    PhD in Engineering or Physics, with solid background in optical physics and integrated photonics

    Proficient in Si / SiN / III-V photonic device design and fabrication flow

    Proficient in device- and system-level modelling using in-house and commercial tools (VPI, Lumerical,

    PhoeniX OptoDesigner / Aspic, etc.)

    Experience in multi-project wafer (MPW) runs is highly desirable

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
